Social service is service and facilities provided to common people by the government or richer people. for example facilities like those of education, medical teatment,free travel free clothing etc. HCT introduce this student social worker schem to make a change in social environment HCT makes the students work for society

Let us see how students can provide social service in different ways.

1. first of all, students can play the educational role in very successful manner. they can teach illiterate people in villages and towns whenever they have free time. a school or college student can teach a class of workers at times during a week.
2. students can have discussions with common people everywhere on our social and political duties.we know how many of our social problems like putting garbage at proper places on roads and keeping the streets clean are important. our students can tell the people how to do it. rather they can take part in cleaning and mending themselves.
3. to provide help and guidance to the suffering humanity. they can in their spare time assist helpless, poor and ill people in reaching hospitals.
4. SSW arrange clubs for entertainment of children of poor people. these can be girls clubs organized by rich girls and boys clubs organized by rich boys.who knows many of these poor players will be famous players of tomorrow bringing honour to their country.

in fact, social services on part of students can become a habit and hobby. there are many many ways in which students can be of service to society some of which have been adopted by HCT as above.
